PRELIMINARY

Saving and restoring the conﬁ guration

Before programming any buttons, you may want to save the DVCM 50’s current

conﬁ guration in case you want to restore those settings in the future.

Saving a conﬁ guration

1. From the File menu, select Save CONFIGURATION as... .

The “Save Current MediaLink Conﬁ guration as...” window opens.

2. If necessary, browse to locate the folder in which you want to save your

conﬁ guration. (It is recommended that you save it in the MediaLink folder, or

in another directory where the ﬁ le can be found easily.)

3. Make sure the Save as type ﬁ eld is set to MediaLink Conﬁ gs (*.MLK).

4. Enter a name for the conﬁ guration in the File name ﬁ eld, in the format

ﬁ lename.mlk.

Save Current MediaLink Conﬁ guration as... window.

5. Click Save. The current conﬁ guration is saved as a ﬁ le with a .mlk extension.
