MLM-WB Security Screw
Installation Guide
Introduction
Enclosed with this card are
• Extron part #40-290-02, a pair of
security screws that can be installed
around the door of the MLM-WB wall
box (instead of the standard 5/16” long,
flatheaded machine screws) to make
unauthorized access to the equipment
inside the wall box difficult.
• Extron part #100-012-02, the hex
wrench for the security screws. The
security screws cannot easily be removed
without this hex wrench.
Installation
1. Remove two screws from the MLM-WB’s door: one from
the leftmost top hole and one from the leftmost bottom
hole.
2. Insert the security screws into those holes and hand
tighten them with the provided hex wrench. See the
picture on the other side of this card.
