The Hideaway

™

HSA 222C and HSA 222S are rugged metal

enclosures specifically designed to provide easy tabletop access to

data and power connections. Both models in the HSA 222 Series

offer fixed configurations of two RJ-45 (CAT 6) network/data/phone

connectors, and two unswitched AC outlets.

Both models also include an RJ-45 connection kit for each fr

ont

panel RJ-45 jack. Inside the kit, there is one set of icons for labeling,

one blank hole filler, and an assortment of colored bezels. These

enable the labeling and color-coding of each RJ-45 connector

accor

ding to its assigned function, or covering the connector when

it is not needed.

To access the connectors, users press down on the top of the

enclosure, releasing a mechanical latch. The HSA pivots open,

presenting the connectors at an ergonomic 49° angle to the

tabletop.

The HSA 222C features a circular bezel which can be installed using

a standard 6 inch hole saw, while the HSA 222S features a square

bezel that can be easily installed utilizing a router template (available

at no charge from Extron) and a router. Once installed, the

HSA 222C and HSA 222S fit nearly flush with the tabletop, storing

power and network connectors out of sight.

The Hideaway HSA 222 Series enclosures ship standard in either

black anodized or brushed aluminum finish. Polished aluminum and

brushed brass models are also available. (These models are built to

order and require a longer lead time).

Each model in the HSA 222 Series features two unswitched AC

outlets, and is available with USA, UK, Central Europe, Australia,

Switzerland, France, Israel, or India power outlets.

The circular bezel allows the Hideaway to be mounted at unique

angles. A standard hole saw can be used to make the 6-inch

hole.
