7. Click Tools > Update Firmware. The Extron Firmware Loader appears (see ﬁgure 12).

8. Click Browse (a). The open ﬁle window appears.

9. Navigate to the folder where you saved the ﬁrmware upgrade ﬁle. Select and open

(double-click) the ﬁle. The Firmware Loader returns to the top.

NOTE: Valid rmware les must have the ﬁle extension “.S19”. Any other ﬁle

extension is not a ﬁrmware upgrade for your FOX DA.

10. Click Upload (b). The File Loader reports, “This process could take several

minutes. Please wait..

” and then displays the status of the upload.

11. When the Firmware Loader reports, “Transfer complete!”, click the Exit (c)

button.

12. Cycle the power for the FOX DA.
