
Symbol Definitions
Symbols (variables), defined below, are used in the command and response table. The
symbols represent variables in the command and response table fields.
] = Carriage return and line feed
} = Carriage return (no line feed)
• = space
X! = Output 1 through 8
X@ = Mute status 0 = off (unmuted) 1 = on (muted)
X# = Reclockable input number 00 = all inputs
01 = input 1 (group A) 03 = input 3 (group B)
05 = input 5 (group C) 07 = input 7 (group D)
X$ = Input reclocker rate 00 = Bypass (no reclocking) 02 = 2.125 Gbps
01 = 1.25 Gbps 03 = 4.25 Gbps (default)
X% = Name Up to 24 alphanumeric characters, excluding spaces or blank characters. The
first character must be alphabetic and the last character cannot be a hyphen or
or minus sign.
X^ = Firmware version Vx.xx
X& = Transceiver module status 0 = no light input 1 = light input
X* = Temperature nnnF = whole degree Fahrenheit
X( = Transceiver module status 0 = no module installed 2 = singlemode 1 = multimode
X1) = DA configuration switch position 1 = 1x8 DA (Default) 2 = Two 1x4 DAs 3 = Four 1x2 DAs
