= General information query (I commands)
1 = Model name
Example: SME 100 HD or SME 100 SD
2 = Model description
Example: Extron Electronics MPEG-4/H.264 Encoder
3 = System memory usage
[ <# of megabytes (MB) used / # of megabytes (MB) free> ]
4 = User memory usage
[ <# of megabytes (MB) used / # of megabytes (MB) free> ]
10 = Number of connected users: 0 to 15
36 = Average bandwidth
[ Inf36*<0 – 12000 kbps>
}
]
37 = Current frame rate
[ Inf37*<0 – 30 Frames>
}

= Firmware query (Q commands)
NOTE: Responses to the numbered Q commands begin with a
"Verxx" tag when in verbose modes 2/3. For example, 1Q responds
Ver01*1.00
]
.
* = Firmware and build number: [ <X.YY.ZZZZ> ]
0 = Verbose version information (sum of <2Q> − <3Q> − <4Q>
]
responses)
[ <2Q> − <3Q> − <4Q> ]
1 = Firmware version (currently running code): [ <X.YY> ]
2 = Final stage bootloader version
Example: Extron Electronics MPEG-4/H.264 Encoder
3 = Factory base code version
[ <Factory firmware code (X.YY)>*<Kernel version (X.YY)
− Description − Date loaded> ]
4 = Updated firmware version
[ <Updated firmware code (X.YY)>*<Kernel version (X.YY)
− Description − Date loaded> ]
NOTES: For the 3Q and 4Q commands:
• An asterisk (*) after the firmware code indicates which version of
firmware is running.
Example:
1.00*(1.81− SME 100 HD/SD − Tue, 14 Jun 2011
13 : 40 : 03)]
• A question mark (?.??) after the firmware code indicates that the
factory default version of firmware is running.
• A caret (^) after the firmware code indicates the version of firmware
that should be running, but the factory default version of firmware is
running because of a mode 1 reset.
• An exclamation point (!) after the firmware code indicates corrupt
firmware.
SME 100 • Remote Communication and Control 129
